I applied to Clemson with a 3Oct 12 2009Computer Science
I applied to Clemson with a 3.73 unweighted. 1210 SAT, 28 ACT. I held leadership positions in FBLA, and was a member of Beta Club and played two sports for a year each.
I wasn't in the top 20%, not even top 30%, but made it in the top half.
I was in the largest and most competitive incoming freshman class at Clemson.

I had a disciplinary infraction as a freshman for fighting (which is QUITE embarressing to put on any college application... actually it is was ABSOLUTELY humiliating to me.)

If you want to get in but you don't think your grades are quite good enough apply under a smaller major like packaging science or geology, they always want students and their is little competition, you can always change you major very soon after you get there.

Your GPA and class rank are extremely importantOct 10 2007History/Histories (art history/etc.)
Your GPA and class rank are extremely important. SAT/ACT scores are also important, but you don't have to have a super high score to get in. They look at your extracurriculars too, because they want to bring in students that are going to be involved in the university.
ACT: 27 SAT: 1240 Female
